S-WIN training course in Weinfelden: modern timber buildings - efficient, protected and long-lasting
The 49th training course of the Swiss Wood Innovation Network S-WIN, held in cooperation with Bern University of Applied Sciences on 24/25 October 2017, provided an overview of current expert knowledge on this subject.
A timber building needs to be roubst and long-lasting. This has to be the focus when planning and constructing modern multi-storey timber buildings. The 49th training course of the Swiss Wood Innovation Network S-WIN, held in cooperation with the Bern University of Applied Sciences on 24/25 October 2017, provided an overview of current expert knowledge on this subject. The event was moderated by Andrea Bernasconi of Heig-vd in Yverdon-les-Bains and Andreas Müller (Department of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences). Around 180 experts from research and practice took part.
