Event "Forests and Wood 4.0"
The fourth industrial revolution or "industry 4.0" is expected to radically change our industrial processes. The BFH Centre for Wood – Resource and Material is organising an event addressing this topic.

How will "industry 4.0" affect the forestry and timber economy, in particular processes in individual companies and across the industry? How will the industry be affected by increasing digitalisation? What new business areas will be created along the value chain? What new technologies will be required?
In conversations with external experts, we will try to answer these questions, highlight existing approaches and attempt a forecast of what lies ahead.
